Implementation is fast for the hardware-and-cloud model.
Samsara is not a warehouse LMS — it's a fleet management platform with yard visibility features. Don't evaluate it against Lucas Systems or Easy Metrics. The hardware costs (cameras, devices) add up across a fleet, and the SaaS pricing scales meaningfully with vehicle count.
Operations with significant fleet (private trucking, yard tractors, forklifts) where fleet telematics, ELD compliance, and safety/dashcam tooling create operational value.
Don't evaluate Samsara as warehouse labor management — wrong category.
